SOME OF THE PROJECTS CONSIST OF DEVELOPING PUBLICITY FOR ATHLETIC EVENTS, PROMOTING POSITIVE SPECTATOR SPORTSMANSHIP, ORGANIZING THE END OF SEASON SPORTS BANQUETS, TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS SUCH AS HOMECOMING,ECT.

ORGANIZE AND SPONSOR VETERAN EVENTS

PROGRAM ( "PROGRAM") PROVIDES A YEARLY GRANT TO BOTH DUKE UNIVERSITY ("DUKE") AND UNC-CHAPEL HILL ("UNC") TO SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT FOR A SELECTIVE GROUP OF UNDERGRADUATE . ARE SELECTED BASED ON THEIR EXTRAORDINARY POTENTIAL FOR AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. PROGRAMMATIC BENEFITS INCLUDE TUITION, ROOM AND BOARD, SUMMER FUNDING, AND RIGOROUS MENTORSHIP. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ("ED") OF PROGRAM IS INVOLVED IN ALL ASPECTS OF THIS ACTIVITY, INCLUDING SELECTION AND ONGOING SUPPORT, PROGRAMMATIC DESIGN AND DELIVERY, STRATEGIC VISION-SETTING AND PLANNING, AND FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT. ED DEVELOPS AND COORDINATES ACTIVITY EVENTS HOSTED FOR THROUGHOUT YEAR, AND HE OVERSEES CROSS-CAMPUS COLLABORATION AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH BOTH DUKE AND UNC ADMINISTRATIONS. IN FISCAL YEAR ENDED 6/30/21, THERE WERE 59 ATTENDING DUKE AND 68 ATTENDING UNC.
